Thrivers & Divers
48 unique characters designed to be a creative, engaging and interactive way to help young (or old!) athletes understand the thoughts, emotions, behaviours and characteristics that can facilitate or hinder their wellbeing and sporting performance! Simply download, laminate and cut and they're ready for use!
Thrivers are designed to represent the positive emotions (e.g. Excited Cyclops), thoughts (e.g. Control Cactus) and behaviours (e.g. Adaptable Adventure) that an athlete may be able to use to increase their wellbeing or performance. These are the things that we want to do more of and leave us feeling satisfied and fulfilled at the end of a training session or competition.
Meanwhile the Divers are designed to reflect the negative emotions (e.g. Frustrated Phantom), thoughts (e.g. Overthinking Oracle) and behaviours (e.g. Isolated Imp) that cause a decrease to well being or performance. These are the factors that we may feel are holding us back and that we want to dispute, accept or replace.
Ideal for raising self-awareness and understanding of thoughts, emotions and behaviours, as well as encouraging creativity through storytelling to explore the potential impacts of these areas on performance. Practitioners are encouraged to be creative and utilise them in a way that best suits their approach to practice and the contexts that they work in.

Mindset Island: The Game
Mindset Island: The Game is designed to be used by athletes, parents, coaches and sport psychologists to add an element of fun, challenge and ‘gamification’ to their sessions whilst also helping athletes to develop greater self-awareness, reflective skills and strength identification.
Useable in both 1-2-1 or group settings athletes/players will embark on a journey around Mindset Island, starting and ending at Champion City. Players begin the game with six negative characters (Divers) and must travel across the island, completing mental skill challenges to replace them with positive characters (Thrivers). The goal is to be the first player back to Champion City having replaced all of your Divers with Thriver characters.
The locations throughout Mindset Island are designed to reflect some of the key thoughts, feelings or behaviours that athletes may be experiencing and reflect both positive and negative experiences.
