About Me
Hi, I'm Scott an Applied Sport Psychologist and founder of Gunning Mental Performance
Sport has always been a huge part of my life and as a competitive athlete for over 15 years (and still counting!), I know just how important having the right mindset is if you want to perform at your best. I set up Gunning Mental Performance to help athletes learn more about their strengths, find solutions to overcome challenges and focus on doing more of what works. Over the years I have worked with athletes and teams in a number of sports including:

I predominantly work in youth sport (ages 9-16) but I am able to provide support for athletes of all ages!
Outside of running Gunning Mental Performance, I am a competitive 400m runner, currently competing in the National Athletics League. I am also a fan of Chelsea FC, Formula 1, Star Wars and Marvel. I currently work at the University of Northampton as a Lecturer in the BSc Psychological Sciences of Sport and Exercise degree.
